Change a section’s layout variant

Follow these steps

Select the section itself
Choose the section on the left. Use Back to section properties if a child element is selected.
Find Layout variant
Where the section has compatible variants, choose a different entry in Layout variant. This control is only shown when alternatives are available.
Review all fields
Check the resulting layout, content, and images. A different component may use different fields and can fall back to starter content when the existing content is incompatible.
Keep or undo
Use Undo if the change is unsuitable. Otherwise finish editing and Save.

The section uses the selected compatible variant.
